TRANSCRIPTION- COURT TYPIST - WORK FROM HOME OR SYDNEY OFFICE

Based in Sydney, APT Transcriptions is a long-standing existing provider to court and police jurisdictions, with a reputation for delivering quality transcripts on time.
n
About you
n
We are looking for experienced transcribers to work remote as independent contractors or onsite in our Sydney office.
n
We require experience with Federal Court and WA Police, but other Australian court experience will be considered, particularly NSW Courts. Any experience checking and compiling transcripts would be highly regarded.
n
National Police Clearance
n
Qualifications, skills & experience
n
Experience in court transcription, Federal Court or NSW. Experience with other courts and jurisdictions would be considered
n
Typing speed of 80WPM
n
Ability to meet deadlines
n
Excellent hearing and attention to detail
n
Able to follow templates and client specific manual
n
Love to type
n
Tasks & responsibilities
n
Transcribe audio, video,



and live recordings accurately and efficiently
n
Review, proofread, and edit transcripts to meet quality standards
n
Meet delivery deadlines and support team priorities
n
Identify and elevate complex transcription issues
n
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
n
Onsite in Sydney office:
n
n
Ability to work 4-5 days a week.
n
n
Remote work – compulsory requirements:
n
Company Pty Limited ACN set-up for remote/work from home in court transcription. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE, but we can assist with payment of company set-up
n
Secure internet and Windows 11 computer with ability to work multi-factor authentication and remote desktop. Computer no older than 4-5 years, and must use an Infinity foot pedal.
n
Ability to work during the day (Sydney time) for daily transcripts - 4 - 5 days per week preferred.
n
Long term government clientson contract
