Project Manager/Senior Project Manager – Gold EPC Projects

Perth & Brisbane-based opportunities are emerging for experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to lead greenfield and brownfield gold project delivery across Western Australia.
n
We are interested in speaking with proven EPC project leaders who can take full accountability across engineering, procurement, commercial, cost, schedule and construction delivery.
n
This is not a construction-only requirement. The successful individuals will have demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and controlling projects from tender and design development through procurement, execution, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead end-to-end delivery of EPC gold/process plant projects
n
Manage multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and construction teams
n
Own project budgets, forecasts, schedules and resource plans
n
Drive design maturity, procurement sequencing and construction readiness
n
Manage commercial negotiations, contracts, variations and project risk
n
Maintain strong client relationships and project reporting
n
Identify delivery issues early and take decisive corrective action
n




Lead project teams through commissioning and operational handover
n
n
Required experience
n
n
Degree-qualified Engineer or equivalent technical qualification
n
10+ years across engineering/construction project delivery
n
Proven Project Manager/Senior Project Manager experience within EPC/EPCM environments
n
Robust mineral processing or gold project experience
n
Demonstrated multidisciplinary design management capability
n
Experience across civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical disciplines
n
Strong commercial, estimating, scheduling and project controls capability
n
Previous accountability for project cost, schedule and client outcomes
n
Knowledge of WA mining and construction requirements
n
n
Backgrounds limited primarily to site construction management, owner-side package management or sustaining capital delivery without multidisciplinary design accountability are unlikely to suit this requirement.
n
These are senior delivery roles for individuals who can integrate engineering and construction while maintaining commercial and schedule control across the full project lifecycle.
