Gaming Manager | Mission Beach Hotel

Are you a gaming specialist who knows how to run a top-tier room, build genuine rapport with players, and drive exceptional operational standards in a relaxed tropical setting? The Mission Beach Hotel is searching for a dedicated, results-driven Gaming Manager to take command of our vibrant gaming room and lead our dedicated floor host crew.

This is a high-impact, specialized leadership role. We need a gaming leader who takes immense pride in room presentation, understands operational flow and machine performance, and sets the standard for warm, country-coastal service. You will lead from the front line, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our tight-knit local community and visiting tourists, maintaining absolute compliance across QLD liquor and gaming regulations, and mentoring a passionate floor team.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:
n
Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
n
Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
n
Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
n
Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift
n
Inherent requirements:
n
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).



Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:
n
You've been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
n
You've learned from great managers and are ready to step up
n
You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
n
You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
n
You've got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
n
