The Role
n
As a Residential Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and project teams by preparing accurate quotations and ensuring customer requirements are translated into practical and cost-effective solutions.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, building specifications, and project documentation
n
Completing take-offs and preparing accurate, detailed quotations
n
Assessing project requirements and selecting appropriate products and solutions
n
Preparing quotes and orders using internal estimating systems
n
Liaising with customers, builders, contractors, architects, and internal stakeholders
n
Supporting phone-based sales activities and assisting with customer enquiries
n
Following up quotations and maintaining strong customer relationships
n
Working collaboratively with production, sales, and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
n
n
About You
n
n
A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Estimator role
n




Industry experience within the aluminium, glazing, construction, or related manufacturing sectors
n
The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and building specifications
n
Experience preparing accurate take-offs and detailed quotations
n
Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with measurements, calculations, and costing
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
n
Robust communication and relationship-building skills
n
Confidence engaging with customers and stakeholders via phone and email
n
Sound computer skills and the ability to work across multiple systems
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
n
Experience using V6 estimating will be highly regarded
n
