State Franchise Development Manager (VIC)

We're looking for a commercially minded Franchise Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to our Franchise Partners, helping them grow sales, improve profitability, enhance customer experience, and build high-performing businesses.
n
This is a newly created role based in the field where you'll work closely with franchise business owners across your region, using data-driven insights, coaching, and influence to deliver sustainable commercial outcomes whilst protecting Drummond Golf brand standards and operational excellence.

The Role
n
n
Partner with Franchise Partners to develop business plans, sales strategies, and growth initiatives.
n
Analyse business performance, financial results, and key retail KPIs to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
n
Conduct regular business reviews and provide coaching on sales, profitability, labour, inventory, and operational performance.
n
Support Franchise Partners to build capable teams through recruitment, onboarding, training, and leadership development.
n
Drive compliance with brand, merchandising, operational, and customer experience standards.
n
Advise on inventory management, stock control, shrinkage reduction, and business risk management.
n
Act as the key link between Head Office and the franchise network, supporting the implementation of commercial and marketing initiatives.

Build strong relationships and influence positive business outcomes through coaching rather than direct authority.

About You
n
You'll be an experienced commercial leader with a passion for helping business owners succeed.
n
We'd like to bring to this role:
n
n
3-5+ years' experience in franchise support, business development, regional management, retail operations, or a similar commercial advisory role
n
Proven experience managing P&L; performance, budgets, and multi-site retail KPIs.
n
Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights
n
Exceptional relationship-building, coaching, and influencing skills.
n
Experience working within a franchise environment and partnering with independent business owners would be looked upon favourably
n
Confidence presenting performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
n
You will need to have a current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Victorian region are essential. A car allowance will be provided.

Knowledge of golf would be advantageous
