About the Role
n
We are seeking a Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse) to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a nurse seeking a rewarding role with excellent work-life balance, while contributing to community healthcare in a busy and supportive general practice setting.

About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will:
n
Hold current registration with AHPRA as either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
n
Be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
n
Have previous experience in general practice or primary healthcare (preferred but not essential)
n
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Be confident using medical software and electronic health records
n
Hold a current CPR certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
n
Nurse Immuniser Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
Be organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
Hold a current Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement)
n
Have basic computer skills and be comfortable using workplace systems
n
Able to speak a second language (preferred but not essential)
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Reporting to and supported by the Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the practice. Responsibilities include:
n
Wound management and other clinical procedures as required.
n
Immunisations and vaccine management
n
Assisting with clinical procedures
n
Health assessments and Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and Care Plans
n
Treatment room and stock management
n
Patient triage and clinical support
n
Infection prevention and control
n
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
n
Support quality improvement, infection prevention, and accreditation activities
n
