UNTIED, Barangaroo's vibrant rooftop bar, is looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team.
n
Sitting high above the heart of Barangaroo, UNTIED is all about tropical cocktails, great food, rooftop sessions, functions and good times. With a busy calendar of events and activations and spaces catering for everything from casual drinks to large-scale functions, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands‐on hospitality leader who loves a quick‐paced venue.

The Opportunity
n
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of UNTIED, leading from the floor and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Leading and motivating the team through busy services
n
Supporting day‐to‐day bar and venue operations
n
Coaching and developing team members
n
Driving exceptional guest experiences
n
Supporting rostering, labour management and operational performance
n
Maintaining strong venue presentation and service standards
n
Managing stock, cash and operational controls
n
Supporting functions, events and venue activations
n
Ensuring RSA, WHS and venue compliance standards are maintained
n
Taking ownership of the venue in the Venue Manager's absence
n

About You
n




We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Has previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Manager or experienced hospitality leader
n
Comes from a busy, high-volume bar, pub or hospitality environment
n
Is confident leading teams from the floor
n
Has strong bar and beverage knowledge
n
Understands labour, stock control and venue financial performance
n
Is passionate about developing people and building strong team culture
n
Brings energy, initiative and a genuine love of hospitality
n
Is comfortable working across a rotating roster including nights and weekends
n
Holds a current NSW RSA
n
