About the Role
n
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess UEE***** – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician at our Melbourne campus.
n
This position is ideal for an industry professional who is passionate about training the next generation of electricians and supporting students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver high-quality training and assessment in accordance with the training package requirements.
n
Develop and maintain learning and assessment resources.
n
Conduct assessments and provide timely feedback to students.
n




Monitor student progress and provide academic support where required.
n
Participate in validation and moderation activities.
n
Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
n
Ensure compliance with ASQA, CRICOS, and RTO Standards requirements.
n
Support student engagement, attendance, and course completion outcomes.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the training department.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
n
Vocational competency at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
n
Current industry skills and knowledge in the Electrotechnology sector.
n
Sound understanding of the Standards for RTOs and competency-based training.
n
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Computer literacy including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
n

Desirable Requirements
n
n
TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools.
n
TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills.
n
Experience delivering training to international/domestic students.
n
Previous experience within a CRICOS registered RTO.
n
Minimum one year of training and assessment experience.
n
Experience with student support and retention strategies.
n
