About the Role
n
As Project Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, working closely with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors and the internal project team.
n
You'll take ownership of the project from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially, on programme and to a high standard.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover
n
Develop, manage and monitor project programmes, milestones and sequencing
n
Manage project budgets, costs, variations, forecasting and commercial performance
n
Oversee subcontractor procurement, engagement and performance
n
Coordinate consultants, designers and project stakeholders
n
Lead design coordination and resolve project issues as they arise
n
Manage client relationships and maintain clear communication throughout delivery
n
Drive programme, quality, safety and construction outcomes
n
Identify, assess and manage project risks
n
Lead project meetings, reporting and stakeholder communication
n
Monitor project progress and implement recovery strategies where required
n




Manage the project through practical completion, defects and handover
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong commercial fit-out or refurbishment background.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
n
Experience managing projects in the $1M–$5M range
n
Strong programming, sequencing and construction management capability
n
Solid commercial and contractual understanding
n
Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
n
Strong client and stakeholder management skills
n
Experience coordinating design and resolving construction issues
n
Strong financial and commercial management skills
n
Excellent communication and organisational ability
n
A hands-on, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
n
n
Experience across education, office or hospitality fit-outs would be particularly relevant.
n
