Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Drainer to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Read and interpret project specifications with accuracy.
n
Install and maintain sewer, stormwater, water pipelines, watermains, and below-ground drainage systems.
n
Inspect, test, and ensure the integrity of stormwater drainage and other drainage procedures.
n
Install trench support systems as required.
n
Lay pipes, fittings, drains, and other apparatus for sewer and drainage systems.
n
Set up and operate pipe lasers and other equipment for accurate leveling (e.g., dumpy levels, string lines).
n
Manage drainage work sites, including removing excess water from pits, trenches, or excavations.
n
Assist with plan layout and material marking when necessary.
n
Direct and support plant operators to ensure smooth project execution.
n




Comply with WHS standards and maintain efficiency in all aspects of drainage and pipework.
n
Adhere to WHSE & Quality Systems and follow company policies and procedures.
n
Participate in relevant training programs as needed.
n

Key Requirements
n
n
A relevant qualification in plumbing, drainage or civil construction, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in drainage and civil construction.
n
Strong reliability, work ethic, and safety-conscious mindset.
n
An OHS card is required; a Confined Space Ticket is advantageous (training can be provided).
n
Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions, with a willingness to undertake regular overtime.
n
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work and work effectively as part of a team.
n
