The Opportunity
n
We are looking for an ambitious, autonomous Mechanical Engineer (Intermediate or Senior level) to be part of our Consulting Engineering Team.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
·Design Delivery: Lead and support Mechanical Services Design across a diverse project lifecycle.
n
·Engineering Calculations: Undertake Mechanical Building Services Design system selections and design calculations.
n
Undertake system design utilise software such as Camel Heatload calculations. Be able to sized ductwork and undertake fan selections.
n
Compliance Management: Ensure all mechanical designs strictly comply with relevant Australian
n
industry codes, standards, and practices.
n
Project Coordination: Work from engineering sketches, coordinate workflows, and collaborate with Senior Engineers.
n
Peer Reviews: Actively participate in design clarifications and cross-discipline peer reviews.

What We Are Looking For
n
Experience
n
3+ years of dedicated experience within a Building Services Consulting Engineering practice or allied organization.
n
Technical Knowledge
n
Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, HVAC layouts, and mechanical engineering calculations.
n
Autonomy
n
Proven ability to manage design tasks under your own initiative while working effectively within a project team.
n
Professional Memberships
n
Engineers Australia membership is highly desirable (but not essential).
n
BPEQ (Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland) registration or a clear pathway to registration is highly desirable (but not essential).
n
Communication
n
Strong English language skills (essential for both written technical reporting and spoken team coordination).
n

Full, valid Australian citizenship or a work visa with unrestricted working rights.
