About the Position:
n
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a confident Plaintiff Personal Injury Lawyer to join our client's team, based in either Brisbane CBD or the Gold Coast (your choice of primary office).
n
You'll take ownership of a quality plaintiff personal injury practice, primarily across:
n
n
CTP / motor vehicle accident claims
n
Workers compensation and workplace incident matters
n
Public liability claims
n
n
Depending on your interests, there is also scope to gain exposure to:
n
n
Institutional abuse matters
n
TPD and broader insurance dispute work
n
n
Working closely with a Partner and Senior Lawyers (including Accredited Specialists in Personal Injury Law), you will:
n
n
Run files end-to-end from first conference to settlement (with support when needed)
n




Prepare liability and quantum advice, draft key documents and progress claims strategically
n
Negotiate outcomes and attend mediations, conferences and settlement discussions
n
Maintain strong relationships with clients, medical providers and referrers
n
Manage a steady, sustainable workload focused on file quality rather than volume churn
n
n
This role suits someone around 5+ years PAE (plaintiff PI) who wants to sharpen advocacy and negotiation skills and step into a role with real career momentum. More experienced lawyers are strongly encouraged to apply.
n
Korean language ability is highly regarded (but not essential). If you do speak Korean, there's genuine opportunity to build your profile and strengthen relationships within the Korean-speaking community.

Key Requirements:
n
n
Admitted as an Australian solicitor with a current (or obtainable) practising certificate
n
Approx. 5+ years PAE in plaintiff personal injury
n
Experience in any mix of CTP, workers compensation and/or public liability
n
Strong file management, organisation and time management skills
n
Confident communicator with genuine empathy for injured clients
n
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a close-knit team
n
Interest in building referrer relationships and business development
n
Korean language skills highly regarded but not essential
n
