The Role
n
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to lead our Wentworthville Medical Centre on a full-time basis.
n
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll oversee the centre's daily operations while leading a multidisciplinary team and supporting our GPs and healthcare professionals. You'll manage staffing, rosters, budgets, compliance and continuous improvement while creating an exceptional experience for both patients and employees.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary centre team.
n
Oversee daily operations to ensure the centre runs efficiently.
n
Manage staffing levels and rosters in line with patient demand.
n
Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance development.
n
Monitor budgets, inventory and centre resources.
n
Implement effective administrative systems and operational processes.
n
Promote exceptional customer service and a patient-first culture.
n
Ensure compliance with company procedures, accreditation standards and WHS requirements.
n
Identify operational challenges and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Facilitate regular team meetings and encourage collaboration and feedback.
n
Partner with Regional and National Managers to implement new systems and improvements.
n

About You
n
You are an organised, approachable and solutions-focused leader who thrives in a busy setting. You build strong relationships, communicate confidently and know how to bring out the best in your team.

You will bring:
n
n
Proven leadership or management experience, ideally within healthcare.
n
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
Confidence managing conflict and solving operational challenges.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn clinical systems.
n
The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
n
A qualification in Business Administration or Practice Management is preferred.
n
Knowledge of Medicare billing or healthcare compliance is desirable.
n
