Our Gold Coast Luxury Pet Resorts requires an exceptional team member to join our growing team.
n
We are a small, family run business just outside of Nerang, which offers a luxury service for dogs and cats. This is a casual position that includes working weekends, public holidays and school holidays. We are a 7 day a week business, so all staff must be flexible with shifts.
n
Your role would include (but is not limited to):
n
n
Meeting and greeting our guests and their owners
n
Answering phones and emails to provide information to current and future customers
n
Administration duties, data entry and filing
n
Providing feedback to clients regarding their pets' experience
n
Daily feeding (including special diets) and medicating of dogs and cats
n
Health checks and maintaining animal records
n
Hydro bathing, basic grooming and various physical activities with guests
n
Showing people through our resort for inspections
n
Collecting and delivering our guests using our chauffer service
n
Cleaning guests' accommodation to a high standard
n
n
To apply, you will need to:
n
n
Genuinely enjoy working with cats and dogs (paid experience essential)
n
Have a good knowledge of dog and cat breeds
n
Be confident and competent in handling dogs and cats
n
Be computer literate, including Word and Outlook
n




Be experienced and proficient in reception and administration duties
n
Be organised, efficient, accurate and have a particular eye for detail
n
Possess a very high standard of customer service skills and a friendly phone manner
n
Be able to work autonomously and multi task in a sometimes-pressured environment
n
Be available weekends, public holidays, and all school holidays as well as during the week.
n
Have a current Open Driver's License and own a vehicle
n
Be available to work every weekend. Only people with full weekend availability will be considered.
n

Working Conditions (VERY IMPORTANT!)
n
This is a high animal contact position. This job is intense and physically demanding. Work is performed in a pet resort setting indoors and outdoors. Standing on feet for 7 or more hours a day. Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather.
