Multiple Positions Available | Immediate Start | Ongoing Hours Kindred Support is currently seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team!
We have multiple vacant shifts and ongoing hours available, with immediate starts available for the right applicants.
We support a range of participants across SIL, respite, in-home and community settings. Several of our current vacancies involve supporting participants with complex needs and challenging behaviours, so previous experience working with behaviours is highly regarded.
If you don't have extensive experience in this area but are willing to learn, confident, resilient and open to working with challenging behaviours, we would still love to hear from you.
About You
To be considered, you must:
Have all required employment checks ready to go, including:
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check VIC
Current Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
Have experience working within the disability or support sector
Have experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours, or be willing and capable of working in this workplace
Be reliable, resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Be committed to providing person-centred, high-quality support
