Storeman / Tools & Warehouse Coordinator $80,000–$85,000 + super | Full-time | Sydney

Preservation Technologies is a specialist remedial building company carrying out concrete repairs, waterproofing, façade remediation and structural repair projects across Sydney.
n
We're looking for a Storeman / Tools & Warehouse Coordinator to take responsibility for our warehouse, tools, equipment and stock.
n
This is a stand-alone role. You'll be responsible for keeping everything organised, maintained and where it needs to be. We're looking for someone who is self-managed, practical and takes pride in keeping things under control.

The Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse and storage areas
n
Maintain and update tool and equipment registers
n
Track tools and equipment issued to employees and sites
n
Receive, check and organise deliveries
n
Maintain stock levels and identify items that need to be reordered
n
Prepare materials, tools and equipment for site teams
n
Keep the warehouse organised, clean and safe
n
Inspect tools and equipment for damage, faults and wear
n
Carry out basic repairs and maintenance where possible
n
Arrange servicing and repairs when required
n
Test and tag electrical tools and equipment and maintain test and tag records
n
Ensure tools and equipment are serviced, maintained and fit for use
n
Manage tool calibration and testing requirements
n
Load and unload deliveries
n




Assist with stocktakes and investigate discrepancies
n
Coordinate materials and equipment going to and returning from sites
n
Drive company vehicles to deliver tools and materials when required
n
Liaise with suppliers and site teams
n
Ensure warehouse, tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained to a high standard
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
Holds a current MR driver's licence
n
Holds a current forklift licence
n
Holds a current White Card
n
Is practical and mechanically minded
n
Can carry out basic tool and equipment repairs
n
Has experience with, or is capable of learning, test and tagging of electrical equipment
n
Is organised and pays attention to detail
n
Can manage their own workload without needing constant direction
n
Takes responsibility for keeping things organised
n
Is reliable and takes pride in their work
n
Is comfortable working independently
n
Can communicate effectively with site teams and suppliers
n
Experience in construction, building maintenance, tools or equipment is preferred.
n
