Accommodation Commercial & Industrial This builder generally focuses on projects up to $25 million and have experience delivering works in live and sensitive environments.
n
The Role Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you'll run projects from pre-construction right through to handover and defect liability. You'll lead high-performing teams, manage the details, and make sure we deliver great outcomes for our clients.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
n
Managing projects end-to-end, from day one through to final sign-off
n
Setting up project schedules, managing budgets, and handling procurement
n
n
Managing Subcontractors & Project Reporting:
n
n
Managing subcontractors, contract admin, and regular project reporting
n
Making sure all work hits quality standards, specs, and contract requirements
n




Keeping a close eye on project finances and bottom-line performance
n
n
Safety & Quality:
n
n
Keeping safety (WHS&E;) and risk management top of mind
n
n
Relationships & Team Leadership:
n
n
Building solid working relationships with clients, consultants, and subbies
n
Mentoring and leading your project team
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar 5+ years of experience delivering commercial fitout and refurb projects as a Project Manager
n
n
Additional Experience:
n
n
Experience in Health or Tertiary Education projects is a major plus
n
Solid commercial skills, particularly around budgeting and cost control
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
n
Further Skills:
n
n
Valuable grasp of buildability, construction methods, risk, and site safety
n
Proven experience mentoring and bringing out the best in a team
