What you'll do?
n
As a Security Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, commissioning and maintaining electronic security solutions across a variety of customer environments. Working as part of our Electrical, Data & Security (EDS) team, you'll deliver high-quality solutions while providing outstanding customer service and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to industry standards.

Install, configure and commission CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, intercom and related security systems.
n
Complete preventative maintenance, system upgrades and reactive service work.
n
Diagnose faults and resolve hardware, software, cabling and connectivity issues.
n
Build strong relationships with customers and site stakeholders through professional communication and service.
n
Conduct testing,



quality assurance checks and system handovers.
n

What you'll bring?
n
n
Experience installing, commissioning, servicing or maintaining electronic security systems.
n
Practical experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, intercoms or similar technologies.
n
Current security licence, registration or equivalent authorisation relevant to the work performed.
n
Solid attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
n

What else do you need to apply?

Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hilland client sites around Melbourne.
n
Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.
n
n
Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
