Cancer Care Foundation (CCF) was established in 2018 as a not-for-profit charity organization dedicated to one explicit purpose - creating the much-needed practical support for cancer patients to ease and improve their treatment journey so their energies are focused on getting well.

CCF manages clinical trials at multiple centres across Australia. Due to the growth of our clinical trials business, CCF requires a Finance Officer to join our team at CCF head office in Miranda.

Summary of Current Key Responsibilities;

Accounts Receivable/ Payable
Processing supplier bills and invoices
Reviewing and processing staff/patients’ reimbursement requests
Following up invoice approvals and supporting documentation
Preparing and processing sup plier and reimbursement payments
Responding to supplier payment queries
Responding to sponsor invoicing queries
Reviewing aged debtors

Payroll & HR
HR and employee administration relating to payroll
Payroll preparation, review and finalisation
Payroll changes, leave and adjustments
Recent staff onboarding
Payroll and HR queries




Superannuation compliance

Finance, Compliance & Reporting
Overall management and oversight of the finance function
Bank account oversight and bank reconciliations
Financial function review and reporting preparation
Quarterly BAS preparation, lodgement and payment
Monthly IAS preparation, lodgement and payment
Payroll-related compliance, including superannuation and other statutory obligations
Budget preparation in coordination with internal team
Annual audit preparation and liaison with auditors
Preparing and reviewing management and board reports
Board meeting preparation and attendance
Monitoring key finance, payroll and compliance deadlines
