As we continue to grow our Commercial Law practice, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
n
This is an opportunity for a 1–3 PQE Commercial Lawyer who wants to build their commercial experience, work directly with clients and take on genuine responsibility as they develop their career.
n
The Role
n
You'll work closely with our senior lawyers and Managing Partner across a broad range of transactional and advisory commercial matters.
n
You'll have the opportunity to work on real client matters from early on, while having the support and guidance of an experienced team around you.
n
This isn't a role where you'll be siloed. You'll be trusted with responsibility, exposed to clients and given the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills.

What You'll Do
n
n
Advise and assist clients on general commercial matters
n
Support businesses with structuring, governance and day-to-day legal issues
n
Work closely with senior lawyers on client matters
n
Develop your understanding of the commercial drivers behind client decisions
n
n
Drafting & Transactions
n
n
Draft and review commercial and business agreements
n
Assist with mergers & acquisitions
n
Work on commercial and retail leasing matters
n
Support insolvency and business advisory matters
n
n
Client Exposure
n
n
Work with a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses
n




Attend client meetings and develop strong client relationships
n
Gain exposure to the commercial issues affecting growing businesses
n
Build confidence in providing practical, commercially focused advice
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
1–3 years PQE
n
Experience or exposure to commercial law in private practice
n
Strong interest in corporate and commercial law
n
Good drafting, communication and analytical skills
n
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
n
Ability to take ownership while knowing when to ask for guidance
n
Strong attention to detail and organisation
n
NSW admission
n
