About the role
n
We are looking for someone who is prepared to work a minimum of 0.5 FTE per fortnight on a permanent basis and who has already gained experience in Rehabilitation.
n
Your main duties will include:
n
n
Provision of general and specialist Rehabilitation nursing requiring a large range of clinical skills
n
Strong focus on goal setting and promotion of independence and carer training
n
General holistic assessment, patient and family education with discharge planning to home the primary goal
n
Lead a nursing team and role model the Mission & Values of Calvary Healthcare Tasmania
n
n
About you
n
n
A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery and discharge planning
n
Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.
n
A wide range of clinical skills and/or willingness to learn
n
A solid commitment to customer service and risk management
n




A commitment to their own learning and quality improvement and developing same in a large team of Enrolled & Registered Nurses Level 1
n
Registered with APHRA
n
Minimum of 24months experience in an acute care setting
n
n
