Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit team in this permanent, full-time opportunity.
n
Must have recent experience Team Leading in ICU. ALS competent and be available for an even spread of Dayshift and Nightshift with flexibility across the roster.
n
The Mater Intensive Care Units are an integrated public and private critical care service provided across two intensive care units. We have a friendly and skilled team that excels in caring for a variety of patient groups including complex surgical patients, neurosurgical and neurological conditions, life‐threatening medical conditions, critically ill obstetric patients and critically ill oncology/haematology patients.

Salary range: $***** - $***** per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing
n
As a Clinical Nurse in ICU, you will perform all aspects of Nursing care with particular consideration to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient/client in a safe, effective and patient focussed manner. This clinical leadership role provides and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care, where advanced clinical skills and knowledge underpin care coordination, collaboration and communication within the Nursing/Midwifery and interdisciplinary team, for excellence in patient outcomes.



The CN provides operational leadership when delegated by the NUM/MUM.

About you
n
To be considered for this position you will have:
n
n
Minimum of three years' experience in ICU (ALS competent)
n
Postgraduate qualification in ICU is highly regarded
n
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (no restrictions)
n
High-level interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders at various levels to achieve
n
Available for an even spread of Dayshift and Nightshift with flexibility across the roster
n
