The Role
n
Working directly alongside the Principals and Associates, you will lead the delivery of major building structures projects, providing technical direction across all phases of design and construction. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to developing engineers and an integral contributor to project strategy, design decisions and successful project outcomes.
n
This role is ideally suited to a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking ownership, leading project teams and delivering high-quality solutions across a diverse range of building structures projects including high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, education and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design and delivery of complex building structures projects
n
Provide technical leadership and oversight across project teams
n




Manage project programmes, resources and technical quality outcomes
n
Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects and project stakeholders
n
Mentor and develop engineers and drafters within the team
n
Review and approve structural designs, calculations and documentation
n
Drive successful project outcomes from concept design through to construction
n
Contribute to business growth through the development of strong client relationships and repeat work opportunities
n

Requirements
n
n
Significant experience within an Australian structural engineering consultancy
n
Demonstrated experience delivering medium to high-rise building structures projects
n
Strong technical expertise across reinforced concrete, steel and foundation systems
n
Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate multidisciplinary design outcomes
n
Confidence engaging directly with clients, architects and contractors
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
Full Australian working rights

Ambition to continue progressing toward Associate-level responsibilities
n
