We're looking for a Project Manager to join with Australia's largest privately-owned civil contractor to deliver essential civil, road, and land development projects across the Northern Territory.

About Your Next Role
n
In this position, you will provide comprehensive management and technical support to ensure projects meet safety, environmental, design, and contractual standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
n

Overseeing a portfolio of projects including residential/industrial subdivisions, water/sewer upgrades, local council road infrastructure, and Defence contracts.
n
Effectively delivering programming, staging, and construction methodologies.
n
Ensuring strict compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
n
Managing team outputs across efficiency, profitability, and overall project operations.
n
Leading monthly assessments, cost reporting,



and forecasts of project financial performance.
n
Developing subcontractor work packages and conducting comprehensive package reviews.
n
Cultivating and maintaining strong, long‐term relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
n
Driving a proactive culture to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
n
n
What you will need to bring
n
n
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (desirable)
n
10+ years of experience in the civil construction industry, including a minimum of 2 years in a dedicated Project Management role
n
Valid Driver's Licence
n
Proven experience in earthworks, drainage, community infrastructure, and road construction.
n
A blend of project delivery and estimating experience is highly advantageous.
n
Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and contract negotiation skills.
n
Demonstrated capability in client engagement and stakeholder management.
n
A collaborative management style with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate an outcome‐focused team.
n
