Blight Rayner is an integrated architecture, urban design and interior design practice based in Brisbane. Founded in 2016, our directors Jayson Blight and Michael Rayner stay hands-on in the design and delivery process rather than managing from a distance — everyone from graduate to director is part of the same design process. We're deliberately sized and structured to concentrate our expertise and attention to detail.

Our projects span cultural & community, commercial, education, multi-residential, public and sports.

Role Description The Experienced Architectural Graduate / Registered Architect roles are full time, in office based in Brisbane City, QLD. You'll work on projects through all phases, working within your project team, closely with your project lead and directors. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in developing architectural design, drawings, and coordinating with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications




Minimum 3 years' experience working within an architectural team (more experienced candidates will be considered)
Strong design sensibility combined with excellent technical and delivery capability
Demonstrated documentation skills, with the ability to coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams
High-level Revit proficiency and a solid understanding of BIM workflows
Excellent knowledge of Australian building codes, standards and construction methodologies
Registration with the Queensland Board of Architects desirable
Robust communication and coordination skills, working effectively as part of a project team
