We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Software Engineer (Data & AI) to join our Head Office team in Silverwater, NSW on a full-time basis.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across modern software engineering, AI solutions, enterprise integrations, data platforms and business-critical systems within a agile and cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, develop and maintain scalable software applications, APIs and system integrations.
n
Build and support AI and data-driven solutions that improve business operations and decision-making.
n
Develop integrations between web applications, ERP systems and backend platforms using modern web services and APIs.
n
Design, optimise and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines and reporting systems.
n
Contribute to AI initiatives including automation, analytics, machine learning integrations and intelligent workflows.
n




Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
n
Build, test, deploy and maintain web applications and related systems.
n
Monitor, support and maintain the daily operation of application systems, integrations and data services.
n
Contribute to the strategic planning and future design of IT infrastructure, data architecture and business systems.
n
Maintain high-quality coding standards and apply structured software engineering best practices.
n
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software and integration issues.
n
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI tools and modern engineering practices to drive innovation across the business.

About You
n

Extensive experience in software engineering, application development and systems integration.
n
Strong experience with data platforms, APIs and backend application development.
n
Exposure to AI, machine learning, automation tools or data engineering solutions.
n
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for innovation.
n
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
n
Proven track record of delivering projects within tight deadlines.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n




Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

A strategic mindset focused on delivering business outcomes, not just technical solutions.

Strong attention to quality, maintainability and best practice development standards.

SQL, MySQL, MongoDB
n
HTML, CSS
n
AI/ML frameworks, automation tools or data analytics platforms
n
AWS and cloud-based infrastructure
n
REST APIs and web services
n
Mobile and web application development experience
n
Experience with modern data engineering practices and ETL pipelines
n
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
