701 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Scaffolder for a Leading Hand position with one of our established clients.
n
This is a hands-on role working across a range of commercial, industrial and maintenance projects throughout South-East Queensland. The majority of the work involves aluminium scaffolding, including more complex structures.

About the Role
n
n
Lead and work alongside a team of scaffolders
n
Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding
n
Work from plans, drawings and site requirements
n
Inspect scaffolding and identify safety issues or defects
n
Install guardrails, toe boards and other safety equipment
n
Communicate with site supervisors, engineers and other trades
n
Use power tools and scaffolding equipment
n
Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards
n
Help train and support junior scaffolders
n

What We're Looking For
n
n




Advanced Scaffolder qualification/licence
n
Minimum 5 years' scaffolding experience
n
Previous Leading Hand or crew-leading experience
n
Experience with complex or high-risk scaffolding
n
Ability to read and understand scaffolding plans and drawings
n
Valid driver's licence
n
Strong safety focus and attention to detail
n
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
n
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
n
Commercial, industrial or structural scaffolding experience highly regarded
n
Confined Space ticket highly desirable
n
n
Other Requirements
n
Some projects are within the wastewater industry, so you must be willing to obtain the Hepatitis A & B vaccination if required.
