Legion Drilling is a leading specialist provider of Environmental, Geotechnical and Sonic drilling services across Australia.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Vac Truck Operator to join our Brisbane team. In this hands-on role you will operate vacuum excavation equipment to support our drilling operations and related site works.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Safely operate vacuum trucks for non-destructive digging, hydro excavation and related support works
n
Carry out daily pre-start checks, basic maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in good working order
n
Assist with site set-up, excavation around underground services, backfilling and site reinstatement as required
n
Complete job documentation, logbooks and paperwork accurately
n
Follow all site safety procedures, SWMS and environmental requirements
n
Work collaboratively with drill crews and other team members to deliver projects efficiently
n
Undertake other labouring and support duties as directed
n
Travel will be required for this role,
so flexibility to work weekends and spend time away from home is essential.

Current HR licence
n
Construction White Card
n
Strong commitment to safety and a clean driving record
n
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Reliable and flexible with working hours (including occasional early starts, overtime or weekend work)
n
Highly Regarded
n
Experience in civil, construction, environmental or drilling support roles
n
Locate and protect Underground services Training and any Spotter Training/Licenses
n
