About the Role
n
As a Commercial Cleaner, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of key areas throughout Richmond Traders Shopping Centre.
n
You'll work across amenities, food courts, common areas and other designated areas, ensuring the centre is consistently clean, tidy and welcoming for customers and retailers.
n
The role involves regular cleaning, waste management, maintaining presentation standards and interacting professionally with customers when required. You'll be part of a team but will also need to confidently complete tasks independently and manage your responsibilities throughout your shift.

Multiple proposed rosters available: Sat & Sun - 6:00am to 2:00pm OR Sat & Sun - 9:30am to 5:30pm OR Sat & Sun - 3:00pm to 11:00pm

What You'll Be Doing
n
Your day-to-day work will mainly involve:
n
n
Cleaning and maintaining shopping centre amenities, ensuring they are hygienic, stocked and presentable.
n
Cleaning food court areas, including floors, tables, seating areas and surrounding spaces.
n
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of common areas, walkways and other public spaces.
n
Completing waste collection and disposal in accordance with site procedures.
n
Responding to spills, mess and other cleaning requirements throughout the centre.
n
Maintaining a high standard of overall site presentation at all times.
n
Interacting with customers in a friendly, professional and respectful manner when required.
n
Working with your team to ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standard.
n
Identifying and reporting hazards, maintenance issues or other concerns to your supervisor.
n
Following company policies, procedures, cleaning standards and safe work practices at all times.
n

About You
n
We're looking for people with a good attitude who are reliable, safety conscious and comfortable with hands-on work.
n
You'll ideally:
n
n




Be reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently attend your rostered shifts and travel to Richmond on Saturdays and Sundays.
n
Take pride in your work and have good attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining clean, safe and well-presented areas.
n
Be customer-focused and skilled, with confidence interacting politely and respectfully with customers, retailers and centre staff.
n
Be comfortable with hands-on work, including being on your feet, completing physical cleaning tasks and working in a busy shopping centre environment.
n
Work well independently and as part of a team, while following cleaning procedures, instructions and workplace safety requirements.
n
Be safety conscious, including using cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and reporting hazards or issues when identified.
