888 Traffic - Casual Traffic Controllers

We are currently seeking casual Traffic Controllers to join our growing workforce, with immediate starts available.
n
Please note: This position is not suitable for applicants looking for weekend-only work, night shifts only, or those with limited availability.
n
We are a domestic traffic management company, so please do not apply if you are specifically seeking rail or commercial traffic management work.
n
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

A WorkSafe-issued Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
Valid Traffic Control qualifications as below:
n
n
Qualifications issued before 1 March ****
n
The following qualifications are accepted, provided they are within 3 years of the issue date:

RIIWHS205E
n
RIIWHS302E
n
n
Qualifications issued after 1 March ****
n
Applicants must hold the relevant Category 1 or Category 2 skill sets:
n
Category 1
n
n
Traffic Controller (TC1) – RIISS*****
n




Traffic Management Implementer (TMI1) – RIISS*****
n
n
Category 2
n
n
Traffic Controller (TC2) – RIISS*****
n
Traffic Management Implementer (TMI2) – RIISS*****

Skills & Expectations
n
The successful applicants will have:
n
n
A current Victorian driver's licence
n
Their own reliable vehicle
n
Willingness to travel to job sites across Melbourne
n
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
n
A solid work ethic and excellent time-management skills
n
Flexibility to accept work at short notice and adapt to changing requirements
n
A professional presentation and attitude on site
n
The ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
n
