The Opportunity Sante Recruitment is seeking Principal House Officers to join the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, with appointments providing clinical services across Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals.

As a Principal House Officer, you will work collaboratively with consultants, visiting specialists, nursing and allied health professionals to provide high-quality patient care across the health service.

The Role
n
You will contribute to:
n

The delivery of effective, efficient and equitable clinical services
n
Assessment and management of hospital patients
n
Working collaboratively with Consultants and Visiting Medical Specialists
n
Multidisciplinary patient care
n
Clinical handover and continuity of care
n
Medical education and teaching
n
Dissemination of clinical knowledge to medical, nursing and allied health staff
n
Patient and family education
n
Quality improvement and service development
n
n
The appointment will be with the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, with clinical services provided across Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals as required.

A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in their third or subsequent year of practical experience following eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.

Remuneration & Benefits

Total remuneration package up to $177,295 per annum

Including:

Base salary $137,861 – $151,417 p.a.
