Unleashed Doggie Daycare in Highett, VIC is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer to join our team on a part time or full-time basis.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Bathing, brushing, and drying dogs with care and attention to detail
n
Trimming and shaping coats to breed or customer specifications
n
Clipping nails and cleaning ears
n
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive relationship with pet owners
n
Ensuring all grooming equipment is clean, well-maintained, and used safely
n
Adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of dogs and staff
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience
n
Experience in full service grooming and breed-specific cuts is essential
n
Strong knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
n
Excellent handling skills and the ability to work calmly and patiently with dogs
n
Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming
n




Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
n
Certification in dog grooming or relevant training is highly desirable
n
Valid work visa or Australian work rights are required for this position
n
Minimum availability of 2-3 days per week is required
n
