The Role
n
We're looking for an experienced Senior Pre-Construction Manager to lead preconstruction activities across our commercial projects.
n
You'll work closely with clients, project teams and subcontractors to develop robust budgets, programmes and procurement strategies, identifying risks and opportunities early and helping ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction into delivery.

What You'll Do
n

Lead and coordinate the preconstruction process across multiple projects.
n
Review drawings for constructability, scope gaps and value engineering opportunities.
n
Lead subcontractor tendering and bid analysis across all trades.
n
Develop project programmes to support accurate estimating and procurement.
n
Prepare, manage and update project budgets and cost plans.
n
Present proposals, budgets and recommendations directly to clients.
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
n
Work closely with Delivery and Design teams to ensure a smooth transition into construction.
n
Support project profitability while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

About You
n
We're looking for an experienced construction professional with strong commercial awareness and a proven background in preconstruction and estimating.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
7-10 years' experience in construction estimating and/or preconstruction, ideally within commercial projects.
n
Strong knowledge of subcontractor markets, trades and procurement.
n
Experience scoping, analysing and managing subcontractor bids.
n
Strong budgeting, estimating and value engineering capabilities.
n
A good understanding of building codes, health & safety and construction methodologies.
n
Experience using Microsoft Project and construction/project management software.
n
Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred.
