St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experiencedYears 7-12 Curriculum Leader-Mathematicsto join ourSecondary Yearsteam.Commencing in January ****,this middle leadership positionis responsible forthe strategic direction,deliveryand continuous improvement of theMathematicscurriculum across Years 7-12, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and strong student achievement.

Working closely with school leaders and teaching staff, you will lead curriculum development, support contemporary pedagogical practice, and foster a collaborative, future-focused culture that reflects the College's commitment to excellence in Christian co-education.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Act as an exemplary and humane leader of teaching and learning, setting high professional standards, modelling them for others and communicating with clarity and diplomacy.
n
Lead and develop Mathematics teachers across Years 7-12, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department.
n
Drive curriculum planning, implementation,reviewand compliance with QCAA, ACARA and other relevant curriculum requirements.
n
Promote evidence-informed teaching practices that enhance student engagement,achievementand wellbeing.
n
Oversee assessment, moderation,reportingand quality assurance processes across the department.
n




Analyse student performance data to inform curriculum decisions and improve learning outcomes.
n
Manage departmental resources, budgets,communicationsand strategic initiatives aligned withCollegepriorities.

What You Bring
n
n
A recognised teaching qualification and current Queensland College of Teachers registration, or eligibility for registration.
n
Demonstratedexpertisein secondary Mathematics curriculum,assessmentand pedagogy across Years 7-12.
n
Proven leadership experience with the ability to build capability, improveperformance and support qualified growth in individuals and teams.
n
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, parentsand external stakeholders.
n
Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
n
Experience implementing systems, processes and quality assurance practices that support outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
n
Commitment to ongoing professional learning, exemplary personal integrityand professional conduct.

St Peters Lutheran College (Indooroopilly) is a P-12 coeducational day and boarding college of 2,250 students. The Lower Primary with Years Prep–4 has three classes at each level. The Upper Primary provides a program tailored to meet the needs of students in Years 5–6. St Peters Junior High offers Years 7-9 students a program to support young adolescents. The Senior School provides a program for Years ***** with the International Baccalaureate Diploma offered alongside VET and QSA courses.
