A temporary full time position commencing 28 January **** until 20 December ****. The successful applicant will be required to teach PD/H/PE. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
n
Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning setting based on the principles of PB4L.
n
Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
n
Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in PD/H/PE.
n
Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
n
Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.
n

QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).

Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
n
The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.
n
n
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
n
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
