We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Plant Health Care Technician / Horticulturalist to join our growing specialist Plant Health Care team. Key responsibilities
n
n
Conduct plant health assessments and monitoring
n
Diagnose and treat pest and disease issues
n
Perform advanced tree and shrub planting
n
Undertake tree transplanting and establishment programs
n




Carry out formative and structural pruning of young trees
n
Assist with integrated plant health care programs
n
Operate stump grinding equipment
n
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer service
n
n
About you
n
n
Passionate about trees, plants and urban forestry
n
Strong understanding of plant health and pest management
n
Reliable and self-motivated
n
Able to work independently and within a team
n
Committed to safety and quality outcomes
n
Current Victorian Driver Licence
n
n
n
Commitment to safe work practices
n
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Certificate III or IV in Horticulture, Arboriculture or equivalent
n
Chemical Users Certificate (ACUP)
n
MR Truck Licence
n
Experience towing trailers
n
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Experience in plant health care, pest and disease management or arboriculture
n
