We are seeking a highly driven BMS Project Manager / Project Engineer to deliver best in class automation, controls and energy-efficiency solutions across all major sectors construction and refurbishment projects.

This is a key delivery role for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, can manage multiple stakeholders, and enjoys turning complex building requirements into smart, high-performing automation outcomes.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of BMS projects, including engineering, programming, commissioning and client handover.
n
Typical duties include:
n
n
Managing BMS projects from concept to completion
n
Coordinating with builders, mechanical contractors, consultants and electrical trades
n
Developing BMS design documentation, control strategies and schematics
n
Engineering, programming and integrating field devices, HVAC equipment and third-party systems
n
Overseeing onsite installation, testing and commissioning
n
Managing timelines, budgets and variations
n
Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client specifications
n
Providing technical support, troubleshooting and client training
n




Maintaining solid relationships with customers and project partners
n
n
About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
n
n
3–5+ years' experience in BMS, HVAC controls or building automation
n
Knowledge of open-protocol systems (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LON or similar)
n
Experience with major BMS platforms (Schneider EcoStruxure, Tridium/Niagara and Optergy is a plus!)
n
Strong engineering, diagnosis and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management ability
n
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and control schematics
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
n
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
n
n
Highly regarded:
n
n
Electrical trade qualification, engineering degree or equivalent
n
Experience with multi-vendor environments
n
Understanding of energy-management, NABERS, Greenstar and sustainability outcomes
n
n
