About the role The successful applicant will play an key role in supporting the Car Wash Manager with the day-to-day operation of the site, including delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of site presentation and assisting with the operation and performance of in office equipment.
For the right person, this role also provides an opportunity to take on greater responsibility and grow within the business, including leadership, mentoring and training of future team members. We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and keen to develop their skills as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality customer service, and encourage all staff to uphold to these standards
Oversee site during Manager's absences / RDO's
Support a positive and motivated team workplace
Assist in ensuring all tasks as outlined in the Task Schedule are followed and completed
Carry out regular cleaning of wash bays, dog wash facilities, mud pits, bins, and landscaped areas
Safely handle and manage chemical deliveries, including containers up to 25kg and use of pallet jacks
Conduct routine checks of equipment, lighting, hoses, and vending facilities, escalating issues as appropriate
Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements
Report hazards, incidents, or equipment failures in accordance with company procedures
Ensure appropriate use of PPE by all staff on shift
