Job Description
We are seeking a fully qualified Workshop Electrician to join our team. This is a hands‐on role suited to an experienced electrician who enjoys workshop‐based electrical work, fault finding and the electrical assembly and testing of the equipment we manufacture.

You will work as part of a professional team, ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities
n
Carry out electrical installation, wiring, assembly and fit‐out work within the workshop.
n
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
n
Test, inspect and commission electrical equipment and systems.
n
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
n
Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, legislation and safety requirements.
n
Maintain accurate records of testing, repairs and completed work.
n
Work closely with other trades and workshop personnel to complete projects efficiently.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop setting.
n
Identify potential electrical and safety issues and report them promptly.
n
About you
n
Current Australian electrical licence / unrestricted electrical licence.
n
Demonstrated experience working as a qualified electrician.
n
Strong electrical fault‐finding and diagnostic skills.
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
n
Sound knowledge of electrical safety requirements and Australian Standards.
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Good communication and problem‐solving skills.
n
A reliable, safety‐focused and professional approach.
