Our Pottery Barn & Pottery Barn Kids stores in Chadstone is looking for Sales Merchandisers (also known as a Visual Key Holder) to create a unique shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced, specialty retail environment. These permanent, part-time positions are offering 48 hours per fortnight with a fixed two-week rotating roster, including alternate weekends.

What You Will Be Doing:
n
n
Ensure the store upholds visual presentation, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards to create an inviting shopping environment while showcasing our furniture and homewares through strategic merchandising.
n




Create unique and engaging experiences for customers by sharing your expertise and helping them enhance their homes, delivering exceptional customer service.
n
Assist with opening and closing procedures, register operations, and back-office tasks to provide operational support to the store management team, ensuring smooth store operations.
n
Use effective selling techniques and in-depth product knowledge to drive sales and achieve KPIs.
n
Create a positive and inclusive workplace within a dynamic and supportive team.
n
n
What You Will Bring to the Role:
n
n
1–2 years' retail or visual merchandising experience (preferred).
n
Strong eye for detail, layout, and brand presentation.
n
Great communication and leadership skills.
n
Ability to prioritise, multitask and work hands-on.
n
Flexible availability, including after-hours setups and peak trading periods.
n
n
Physical Requirements:
n
n
Ability to be mobile in the store and back-of-house areas, including standing for long periods
n
Ability to climb ladders and use other equipment in line with safety standards
n
Ability to lift and mobilise medium to large items, up to 30kg, while utilising appropriate equipment and safety techniques
n
n
