We are a leading sheet metal manufacturing company in Brisbane, and we're looking for a dedicated Welder to join our team for the afternoon shift (2:00 PM - 10:15 PM). If you have a passion for welding and want to be part of a agile, growing team, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:

n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints & specifications
n
Polishing Stainless Steel / working with stainless steel and aluminium.
n
Position, align, and secure parts and materials using clamps, jigs, and other tools.
n
Operate welding equipment (such as MIG,



TIG, and arc welders) to fuse metal components.
n
Cut, bend, and shape metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
n
Inspect welds and structural components for accuracy, strength, and quality.
n
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
n
Ensuring quality control standards are met
n
Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
n
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
AQF Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or relevant or equivalent or higher qualification
n
At least 3 years' work experience
n
Experience in the fabrication of rainwater goods (rainwater heads, sumps) highly advantageous
n
Strong attention to detail and quality
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Ability to work independently or within a team
