Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a casual or part time basis, with a particular focus on surgical nursing excellence and mentoring support for our wider nursing team.
, This role is ideally suited to a confident, capable nurse who enjoys being hands on, leading by example, and helping maintain high clinical standards across the clinic.
You will play a key role in supporting surgery days, guiding less experienced nurses, and ensuring smooth daily workflow.

Advanced surgical nursing including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre support
Supporting and mentoring junior and trainee nurses
High quality inpatient care and client communication
Assisting veterinarians with a varied and interesting caseload

About the Candidate
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification preferred
Experienced and confident in animal handling and general small animal nursing
Strong surgical nursing and anaesthesia monitoring skills
Confidence supporting and guiding other nurses
A calm, practical approach in a busy clinical environment
A genuine commitment to patient care and teamwork
