Role Overview




This role is part of our production team, responsible for operating equipment, assessing product quality, and ensuring the mill runs efficiently with minimal downtime.
You will play a key role in delivering high‐quality feed to our customers.
Based at ourCambridge production mill, operating 24/7
You will joinone of four production teams
Reporting directly to theProduction Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Operate mill equipment in line with operating and safety guidelines
Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, and autonomous maintenance tasks
Respond to mechanical faults, production breakdowns, and start‐ups
Take ownership of safety, quality, and performance outcomes
What You Bring
Essential
Strong experience in equipment operation or maintenance
Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Demonstrated high‐level safety behaviour
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Independence, maturity, and initiative
Ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing priorities
Recent Criminal History (Police) Check (valid within 12 months)
Desirable
Mechanical or electrical trade experience
FMCG or automation/control systems experience
