The Senior Ranger Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the management of the Djabugay Bulmba Bama ranger program and participating in the leadership team. The role works closely with staff, the community, stakeholders, and governing bodies to ensure the effective implementation of conservation, land management, and cultural initiatives. The program ranges across the world heritage lands of the Djabugay with a focus on caring for country projects, employment outcomes and cultural custodianship.
Key responsibilities
Lead a team of rangers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the successful execution of on-ground activities
Foster community engagement and empowerment
Coordinate and oversee the management of the Djabugay Bulmba Bama ranger program
Participate in the leadership team
Work closely with staff, the community, stakeholders, and governing bodies
Ensure the effective implementation of conservation, land management, and cultural initiatives
Manage all forms of reporting against required outcomes and budgets as a member of the leadership team
