TYRE FITTER / MONAFLEX VULCANISING TECHNICIAN

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tyre technician who wants a varied role combining workshop work, onsite servicing, fleet management, breakdown work and qualified tyre repairs. You will work from a modern, purpose-built workshop as well as servicing customers throughout South West Victoria. Participation in rostered on-call service is required, with additional payment for after-hours work. Saturday morning work is required.

Key responsibilities

Truck, agricultural and OTR tyre fitting
n
Onsite farm and fleet servicing
n
Fleet inspections and tyre management
n
Monitoring tyre pressures, wear and condition
n
Identifying maintenance and replacement requirements
n
Tyre repairs and wheel balancing
n
Breakdown and after-hours callouts
n
Building relationships with transport, fleet and agricultural customers
n
Inspecting and assessing damaged tyres for repair
n
Carrying out repairs using Monaflex Monarch Tyre Repair Systems
n

About you

Previous tyre fitting or professional tyre repair experience
n
Strong mechanical and practical ability
n
Excellent attention to detail
