HiVis Group is looking for a Casual LED Digital Sign Technician to join our LED team.
n
If you're the kind of person who likes pulling things apart to see how they work, enjoys electronics and technology, and would rather build, test and troubleshoot something real than stare at a screen all day - we want to hear from you.
n
You don't necessarily need years of LED signage experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a practical brain and a genuine interest in technology.
n
What will you actually be doing?
n
This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same.
n
You'll get involved in:
n
n
Building and assembling LED digital signs
n
Testing and commissioning electronic signage
n
Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
n
Working with our Engineering and LED teams on different projects
n
Helping with maintenance and repairs
n
Assisting with installations and commissioning
n
Working with computers, electronics, tools and some pretty impressive LED technology
n
Making sure everything that leaves our workshop is built properly and works as it should
n
n
In short: you'll help turn a collection of components into big, bright digital signs that actually work!
n
Who are we looking for?
n
You could be studying electronics, mechatronics or a related field, already have some electronics experience, come from a
manufacturing/technical
background, or simply be a very capable hands‐on person who loves technology.
n
You'll probably enjoy this role if you:
n

Have an interest in electronics,



mechatronics or technology
n
Are practical and confident working with your hands
n
Have good computer skills
n
Love figuring out why something isn't working - and then fixing it
n
Have a valuable eye for detail
n
Take pride in producing quality work
n
Can use your initiative without needing someone standing over you
n
Work well both independently and as part of a team
n
Have a positive attitude and are willing to learn
n
Care about doing things safely and properly
n
n
Bonus points if you already have electronics
qualifications/experience
or have worked in a manufacturing environment - but don't let that stop you applying if you're keen to learn.
