Our growing accounting firm in the Blue Mountains is seeking a full-time Intermediate Business Services / Tax Accountant to join our practice.

The Role
n
You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial and tax compliance work for a variety of clients including individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
n
Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
n
Working with a range of entity structures including individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
n
Communicating with clients and the ATO when required
n
n
About You
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n




Minimum 2 years' experience in a business services / tax accounting role within public practice
n
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
n
Experience using HandiLedger, Xero Practice Manager & Tax and Microsoft Office
n
Experience preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements
n
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
n
Ability to work independently and take initiative
n
