Yowie Carpentry is a growing carpentry business specialising in high-end, architectural renovations and extensions in Melbourne's inner north. We are known for our attention to detail, reliability and quality workmanship.

We're looking for an experienced carpenter who enjoys building projects that appeal to the eye, rather then rushing through volume builds. Who is reliable, works well as part of a team and is confident carrying out carpentry work independently when required.

About the role
n
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry across a variety of residential projects while helping maintain the standard that Yowie Carpentry is known for.
n
Duties include:
n
n
Frame, lock-up and fix on high-end residential projects
n
Read and interpret plans
n
Liaise with builders, clients and other trades
n
Supervise apprentices when required
n




Keep worksites clean and tidy
n
Problem solve and work independently
n
n
What you need:
n
n
Qualification in Carpentry Cert III
n
Current driver's licence and reliable trade vehicle
n
Strong understanding of residential construction
n
Ability to work independently and within a team
n
Excellent communication skills
n
High standards of workmanship
n
Reliability, punctuality and professionalism
n
Ability to read and interpret plans
n
