About the Role
n
Reporting to the Team Lead - Printhead Systems, you will support the design, development, testing and optimisation of printhead systems, coating processes and manufacturing technologies used in our innovative medical device platform.
n
This is a hands-on role that combines product development, process optimisation, equipment testing and data analysis, supporting activities from early-stage development through to clinical manufacturing and commercial scale-up.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develop and optimise printhead systems, coating processes and associated technologies for product and process development.
n
Design, build and evaluate engineering test systems and prototypes.
n
Plan, execute and document experiments to characterise and improve printhead performance and coating processes.
n
Support design verification, validation and technology qualification activities.
n
Operate, calibrate and troubleshoot manufacturing,



test and measurement equipment.
n
Analyse experimental data, prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.
n
Collaborate with engineers, scientists and manufacturing teams to support clinical manufacturing and future scale-up activities.
n

About You
n
You will bring:
n
n
Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline.
n
Experience in engineering, product development, advanced manufacturing or a related technical environment.
n
Experience using CAD software and interpreting engineering drawings.
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
n
A hands-on approach with a strong willingness to learn and contribute in a multidisciplinary environment.
n
Printhead, dispensing, fluidics or coating technologies.
n
Mechatronics, automation or engineering test system development.
n
Precision mechanical systems and dimensional metrology.
n
Medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing environments.
n
Design controls, verification and validation activities.
n
ISO quality systems and regulated product development.
n
