An Outstanding Opportunity for an Experienced Hotel Licenseen
The Royal Hotel Tumut is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Licensee to lead all aspects of venue operations.
n
This is not an entry-level management position. We are looking for someone who has previously held the position of Licensee and understands what it takes to operate a successful licensed venue that delivers outstanding customer experiences while maintaining solid compliance, financial performance and community engagement.

About the Rolen
As Licensee, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel, including:

Leading and developing a high-performing team
n
Delivering exceptional customer service across all departments
n
Managing gaming, bar, TAB and food operations
n
Driving venue profitability while maintaining excellent service standards
n
Ensuring full compliance with NSW liquor, gaming and regulatory requirements
n
Building strong relationships within the local community
n
Managing labour, stock control, budgets and financial performance
n
Maintaining presentation standards throughout the venue
n
Creating a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
n
About Youn
To be successful in this role you will possess:
n
n
A minimum of five years' experience as a Hotel Licensee or Venue Licensee
n
Demonstrated success managing a licensed hotel environment
n
Strong knowledge of NSW gaming operations, TAB and wagering,



bar operations and hospitality compliance
n
Exceptional leadership and people management skills
n
A proven ability to build and retain high-performing teams
n
Strong financial acumen, including labour management, budgeting and cost control
n
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
n
A genuine passion for regional hospitality and community involvement
n
The ability to balance compliance, customer experience, team culture and commercial outcomes
n
Essential Requirementsn
Applicants must hold (or be able to immediately hold):
n
n
Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
n
Current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
n
NSW Approved Manager competency (or equivalent required for the role)
n
Eligibility to hold and act as the venue's Hotel Licensee under NSW legislation
n
